Hi, I’m Jenni Frankovic.
When I was very little, I read a greeting card that had a pretty sounding poem and told my mom how much I liked it. It was a complete epiphany when she said people got paid to write poems and other stories. This sounded too good to be true. As I grew, I wanted to be a ballerina. And a Writer. Later, a marine biologist. But still a writer. In late high school and early college, I thought I’d be an English teacher or journalist, because…Writer.
By then I had grown up writing poetry, short stories, and plays. I had poured over the classics and then continued devouring books of every genre, favorites being historical and science fiction and fantasy. I loved getting lost in other worlds. I delighted in the lyrical and fantastical worlds of Tolkien. I was inspired by the allegories of C.S. Lewis. I reveled in the adventures of Madeleine L’Engle’s A Wrinkle in Time and was captivated by George MacDonald’s fairytale stories.
Here I am now a mom of three beautiful children, a wife to an an amazing Christian man, and a long-time high school and college English teacher. And a WRITER. I hope you enjoy exploring the layers of the worlds in my pages and find endings full of light for your life.
Thanks for reading,
Jenni Frankovic
