In the hero's journey story structure, the protagonist always has major setbacks before he or she rises. The tasks besetting the underdog seem impossible, but we love to root for him and see him come out on top. In our own lives, it’s easy to allow the challenges in our path to bog us down. How do we fight the monsters in our path?
